EYELASH EXTENSIONS / LASH EXTENSIONS Eyelash or lash extensions are the hot new rage, they look and feel amazing. Individual synthetic eyelashes are applied to your natural lashes, to give the appearance of full long luscious lashes. There is no need for mascara even though a water based mascara is fine to use. The result is thicker, longer, eye opening eyelashes that are safe in the shower, while swimming, sleeping or exercising. They look absolutely natural, feel great and last as long as your natural lash life cycle, anywhere from 3-8 weeks depending on the individual. A full set of semi-permanent eyelash extensions is applied during your initial visit. Eyelash extensions fall out naturally when your natural lash drops. Your own eyelashes will grow out on a continuous cycle, so touching up the eyelash extensions will help to maintain the fullness of lashes. Re-touching is recommended every 2-3 weeks and costs less than the initial visit. This process takes approximately 1 to 2 hours, depending upon the amount of synthetic lashes applied. Each treatment usually involves attaching approximately 25 to 60 lashes per eye. (Number of lashes include both eyes and time indicated is approximate)
IMPORTANT EYELASH EXTENSION AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS • Do not get lashes wet in order to allow glue to dry thoroughly for first 24hrs. • Avoid hot steam from the shower and sauna for first 48 hrs. • Do not rub your eyes excessively. Leave them alone... Be gentle with your new lashes. • Use water based eye makeup remover. Use a cotton bud to gently remove eye makeup around the lash line. • If you feel you must wear mascara, apply only a “water-based” mascara on your lash tips, not at the base of your lashes. Application at the lash base may break the lash and/or create a clump of mascara in your lash line. • Avoid using a mechanical eyelash curler. • Do not perm or tint the eyelash extensions. • Schedule an infill procedure in 2-4 weeks. Infills are highly recommended in order to maintain a full, lush lash line. REMOVAL • Removal should take approximately 20 minutes
